I will keep this post here so those who may have read it (thousands of you) so you will know how I feel now. I apologize publicly to Zynga since I should know better. If hackers can hack their servers to breed illegal sheep, can you imagine the security risk that poses? I was caught up in the game and didn't look at things from the other side. I was not being objective and I admit, a bit childlike. It's just a game and a free one at that. On the other hand, I do empathize that they should provide more excitement to the sheep breeding. I don't know how they tested the Roller Dot Sheep, for example, so I cannot comment on that. I like the game and will continue to play. After all, it is just a game and I have to bear in mind that it's free, it never ends like purchased video games, Zynga tries their best to generate excitement. So I wanted to show my appreciation by posting how happy I was to get a prompt refund, especially when they have over 47 million users!
The following is no longer my opinion:
According to Farmville Freak, we can no longer breed sheep that are fun. I love the Cammo (Calico on my Sheep Breeding Guide) and the Flashers. Why would I want to spend money on Love Potions or Bottles when what I get is BORING,BORING, BORING!!!
Spread the word and repost!!! Let Zynga know they just shot themselves in the foot. I spent more of my REAL money buying love potions and bottles. Zynga, everyone loses. Please give us our fun sheep back. Repost if you agree! Let's let them know how we feel.

i guess theres no reason to play farmville anymore. i was bored with it before the sheep breeding and was considering quiting the game as im over lvl 100 and have almost everything mastered
ReplyDeleteI was starting to get bored until they released EC and the Sheep Breeding really got my interest. I spent 212.00 last month so I could breed cool sheep for my Sheep Breeding Guide. People were loving it. I got over 70% of my users going to my site to see my Sheep Breeding Guide. The Pig Breeding Guide was starting to take off too. Of my total users, over 30% were coming BACK to my site to check out things!!!

ReplyDeleteHad no idea that the flashing sheep was something that was not allowed until many had already had them. Did not intend to do anything illegal here. Just enjoying the really neat sheep and pigs on my farm. I to bought potions and spent my own money ....

ReplyDeleteThe only thing we can do now is boycott them and not buy anything. We have to get the word out to not buy anything with farm cash. It's totally unacceptable what they're doing!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I never spent a sSINGLE PENNY until they came along! Then these guys came into the picture and I spent 120.00 dollars on potions and such just so I could get these guys! I will never get ANYTHING from these guys again with my money! EVER!!! They shot themselves in the foot! BIG TIME

ReplyDeleteYes!! BOYCOTT THEM!!! EXACTLY! Really, why even play. This is just another example of greedy Corporate America, where Ronald Regan started the degradation of the Labor Unions in this country by starting with the firing of Air Traffic Controllers. AND Regan also started giving corporate America tax breaks for SENDING OUR JOBS OVERSEAS! We the people, just sit back in our material shrouded apathy and say 'oh well' and naively go on with life. (Wow, where did that come from) The Zynga situation is representative of how Corporate America thinks (from the view at the top). This is the very greed that makes me understand why we can look so evil in the eyes of people in foreign countries.

ReplyDeleteI was able to make Cammo sheep yesterday morning but towards the evening and today, all I got were solid sheep....boring. I agree Cheryl, no flash, no cash. Love it!
