I Found a Way to Have Over 100 Sheep on Your Farm

Store some sheep by clicking on them and selecting "Store Item". If you have a storage cellar, imagine how many more sheep you can breed!! I just tried it by storing 2 sheep and then left Farmville and went back in. I was able to breed another sheep when I could not before!! See picture below: (Click to enlarge)

What's Up With the Crafting Shop????

I am wondering when they will unroll the Crafting Shop, not to be confused with the Crafting Stall. This shop is supposed to let us make Love Potions, Baby Bottles, etc. It seems like it has been pending since May 11th and Zynga hasn't released it yet. Anyone have any information on this?

How To Get the Code for Farmville/Lady Gaga Daily Gift

There seems to be some confusion about this. It took me awhile to figure out so I thought I would share it with you.

Go to iHeart Radio's web page to get the daily code. See yellow circle. (Click to enlarge)
Then go to Zynga's Lady Gaga page. Click "Sign in with your Facebook Account". Then enter the code and redeem it. The items should automatically go to your giftbox in Farmville. (Click to enlarge)

Amazing How People Can Be Towards Those Who Play Farmville

Ha! Are we becoming martyrs for the game? It's amazing how upset people get over such stupid things. Check out the lambasting I received for a post on Askville: http://askville.amazon.com/level-fastest-Farmville/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=78464142#response_id_78474057

I have no problem with someone voicing their opposing opinion but be nice about it. I know we live in a world full of chaos: countries at war, death, dying, bad economy, etc. But to be able to relax and play a free game on Facebook is a way for some of us to "destress" from life. Oh well, there will always be people who like you and others who don't, who are nice to you and others who are not.

It's both funny and sad. Funny because it's such a stupid thing to get so nasty over and yet sad. I wonder what is going on in Old Hippie's life to make him act so rudely to a total stranger? I will sincerely keep him in my prayers. (Click to enlarge)

If You're Angry with Zynga...Please Read This.

I have been hearing from many of my blog viewers and also seeing it on Facebook, about many problems with purchased sheep not working. I have had similar problems.

As stated in a previous post, I was promptly refunded my money for the purchase of sheep that did not produce "flashers", "color changers", "rollers" as they are called. I am now going to post a series of email conversations with my latest experience with Zynga over 2 incidents.

Before I post it, I want to say that as a programmer/developer, I can imagine what it would be like to try to have perfect code for 47 Million Users. Remember, Zynga makes great efforts to keep introducing new excitement into the game...more programming.

To illustrate, when I was an Web & Data Services Intern, I had made minor code changes to just be able to migrate to a different type of server (from a 32-bit server operating system to a 64-bit server operating system in a virtual environment also). We tested it and found that one person could not access the drop-down menus. We finally figured out it was due to an add-on by Adobe that was causing the issue.

Picture a grain of sand and a glass full of sand. The grain of sand represents the illustration in the preceding paragraph. The glass represents Zynga's Farmville and its huge Farmville application (thousands of lines of code) that 47 million users with  combinations of operating systems, browsers, internet service providers, malware (e.g. viruses) on their computer at times, and various add-ons.

I wonder how many servers they have to deploy just to let people access this game, never mind their other games?

The point I am making is that this is a free game. That is a great thing...in today's economy. I am not saying that they are perfect but I would like you to consider the enormous task they are faced with. Then how about the hackers (not the sheep hackers) but the hackers that try to break into their systems and cause damage to either their systems and/or ours. So they not only have to be concerned about their code but that it is secure.

So I ask that everyone take a deep breath and give them a chance to make things right. Yes, it may be a disappointment that Zynga produced a product that fails our expectations. I am very happy with the two customer service reps who resolved my issues in a timely and efficient manner. I do not work for Zynga but I do respect them just by my contact with its Customer Service Department. I can see they are well-trained how to handle us passionate farmers. All they do is hear people's complaints all day, with some really angry customers. You can read how upset people got (myself included) when we could not breed the illegal sheep: http://farmvillefreak.com/farmville-question/farmville-issues-update-lllegal-sheep-pig-breeding

I have even blogged about it. Now I am responding to the post I made so people don't think I am still upset, if they read my post "Zynga Stole Our Fun."

How was your customer service experience with Zynga? I will not repost what you email me, since I do not know most of you and do not have evidence. But you are free to voice your opinions as a comment here. If you ever get unsatisfactory customer service, always politely ask to speak with a supervisor or resubmit the incident.

Here are the email conversations that I have based the above comments on: (from earliest to latest)

INCIDENT #1:

Zynga’s response to me via email:

Thanks for contacting Zynga Customer Support.

My name is Jacqueline and it will be my pleasure to assist you today. I would really like to apologize for all the inconveniences with missing Mastery Sign. I understand your concerns since I am a FarmVille player as well. Let me thank you very much for the information you provided me, this was very helpful to verify your account.

Kim, I also went ahead and awarded your account with 1 Squill Mastery Sign and  1 Mystery Dart, you can check this in your Gift Box. [Editor’s note: I got the Majestic Roses mastery sign, which is what I had asked for]

By the way, did you know that a good way to get more XP is using a Fertilize All right before harvesting your Crops? You are awarded with XP when you seed your Plots and if you apply the Fertilize All tip you will receive the same quantity of XP as if you were seeding again!

Farmville English Countryside Crafting Pub Mastery

I have found the levels of mastery for the Farmville English Countryside Crafting Pub EXCEPT for the Lionhead Ale. Does anyone have the stats for this mastery??? (Click to enlarge)

Zynga Comes Through Again!!! Thanks Zynga and Jacqueline in Customer Support!

I had spent some time to master the Majestic Roses. When I finally got the Mastery Sign, I inadvertently put it on my Home Farm. I tried to put it back in my Gift Box to move to EC and it disappeared!

I know it may seem dumb to contact Zynga for a Mastery Sign, but it took me awhile to get this mastery. So I figured it couldn't hurt to contact Zynga. Not only did they give me the Majestic Roses Mastery Sign but they gave me a free Mystery Dart game, which I won a Puffin.

Today, I received confirmation of their response via email. (Click to enlarge)
Here is the Majestic Roses Mastery Sign and the Puffin. I circled them in yellow: (Click to enlarge)

Zynga Makes Good....I Knew They Would!!!

I had purchased both the Chameleon Ewe and Flashing/Rolling Dots Ram. None of them worked so I asked Zynga for a refund, which I promptly received. Today, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Chameleon Ram in my gift box. I used it with the Chameleon Ewe (which Zynga let me keep, btw) and bred a Flasher/Chameleon sheep! Thanks Zynga for your efforts to make your loyal fans happy! Good job! (Click to enlarge)
Since the Sheep Breeding Guides are BY FAR the most popular on my site, Zynga made a smartmove to keep us happy.  I know Zynga reads my blog so PLEASE INCREASE THE SHEEP LIMIT ON OUR FARMS TO 200 PER FARM (TOTAL OF 400)!!! (Click to enlarge)

Zynga's Response to their Failed Chameleon Ewe and Flasher Dots Ram

Zynga has taken the Chameleon Ewe off the market. Yesterday, I emailed them through their website asking for the 50 FV Dollars back for the purchase of Chameleon Ewe and Flasher Dots Ram. Today when I logged in, I saw the 50 refund in my FV$ in the Farmville browser and the two sheep I got the refund for are still on my farm. Pretty Quick! Thanks Zynga. I hope you can produce some really fun sheep, expand the amount of sheep on our farms to 200 per farm, and offer ways to have plenty of Love Potions and bottles available.

I say this since my Sheep Breeding Guide is the Number 1 most popular link on my blog by far!! People read many of the pages but repeatedly return to check the guide so it must be useful. : )

At least Zynga is introducing other things to make the game interesting but I really love breeding sheep and so do my over 19,0000 blog readers. Now that is nowhere near 47 million but every day more new people visit. (Click to enlarge)
